ABOUT
plantai is an interdisciplinary design research and HCI lab directed by Dr. Maliheh Ghajargar (Mali). The lab focuses on creativity, sustainability, eco-literacy and AI research.
METHODS
We use qualitative and design research methods, such as ethnographic observations, participatory design, diary, probes, co-design sessions and prototyping to iteratively study people’s interactions with technologies and environments and offer theoretical, technological and methodological insights.
Lab is hiring research fellows!
The lab is seeking to hire highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students to work on several research projects on multi-species storytelling, more-than-human-geographies, and human–environment-AI interaction!
If you are interested please email an updated CV/portfolio with a brief text describing your interests and motivation to Dr. Maliheh Ghajargar at maliheg@unc.edu.
